So. This mirror thing is weird. I saw it, obviously. Wasn't going to tell anyone, but it seems like everyone's seen it now. We're can't all be crazy.
We know what it is and does. But why's it here? Why does it appear and vanish? Hogwarts is haunted by a number of things, but not usually objects. As far as I know, the Mirror of Erised was never a sentient object. So someone either made this happen or is making it happen. Accidentally or on purpose. But why? And how?

I don't want to talk about the match.
So, I'm blond again. Kind of missed it. Doesn't mean I won't be changing it up again soon. Maybe I'll try red again next time. Non-hideous red this time.
Also, I bought a dress while I was out with Michaela. Looks weird on me, doesn't it? Don't lie.

Did anyone else hear the ad for the WWW's new thing? Amortentia hot chocolate is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Who'd buy that?

Ball wasn't so bad. Had a lot of fun and, as a plus, I got to tell my mom that I got into a bloke's trousers at the dance and freak her out. That's always fun.
Also, what the hell was up with that quidditch game? I mean, good job and all, but it was like the Wanderers/Harpies match last year. Ten minutes? Really?
Take one last look at my hair as it is, then say goodbye.

Going to miss class today. It's excused, though. Hah. Tell me if I miss anything important.
I have an appointment with a dietician therapist appointment. Being friends with Hugo caused it. Massive stress and all.
Speaking of Hugo: you should be glad I'm leaving for the day, Hugo. Otherwise I would rip your feet off and throw them in the lake. Most annoying shoes ever.
Mum did tell me we could stop by Diagon so I could get a costume, though. Bonus.

Glad to be back at school, surprisingly, mostly thanks to my brother, who tried to ruin my life. Teachers are on about OWLs and I'm trying to care. Actually, that was a lie, I'm not really.
I think we should have broom racing at school. Not just because I won at it (though that was cool), but because it was fun.

Also, my hair is fixed. Well, it's a natural color now - not my natural color, but a naturally occuring color. Anyway, since people asked, here's pics.

I died my hair. That's what the red was before. It's very red. I look ridic Mum finally forced her way in. She says if I want it fixed, I've got to pay myself, so I have to wait for the next allowance or two.

Guess who was at the match today? Me! Ace managed to get tickets somehow and we went. That match was amazing! Sure, the Harpies lost, but it was still an incredible game. Montague is pretty good, too, despite his back - that Starfish and Stick was awesome! And my ears are still ringing from the end of the game! I really would have liked to see the Harpies win it, but Barbary was impressively fast. Better luck next year, Harpies.

That editorial just seems stupid to me. How was it "verified" by people who weren't there? Even if it is all true, it's a secret society. That isn't allowed to exist. Fancy that they would make you break rules and haze you. If the author wasn't so desperate for friends, they wouldn't have gone through all that. So it's his/her own fault. Anyway, if they're so very awful and don't care about people who aren't members, how do they get members?

Had an allergic reaction to the stupid lipgloss and my face swelled up, but Nurse Delacour sorted me out. I don't care if that rubbish is so green it makes flowers spontaneously grow and deforesters stop in their tracks, don't think of even coming near me with it. I can't afford to lose practice time.
